Our local dentists understand the importance of protecting your teeth and gums, whether you're playing sports, dealing with sleep issues, or grinding your teeth at night. That's why we offer custom-fitted mouth guards designed to provide the best protection, comfort, and relief. These mouth guards are specifically made to fit your teeth and gums, offering better protection and comfort than over-the-counter options
Teeth grinding, or bruxism, is a common problem that affects many people, especially at night. If you clench or grind your teeth during sleep, it can lead to tooth wear, jaw pain, and headaches. A custom-fitted mouth guard for teeth grinding can help protect your teeth from damage, alleviating pressure and discomfort. At Richmond Dental, our team will create a mouth guard for sleeping that is designed to fit you perfectly.
When it comes to contact sports, protecting your teeth and gums is very important. A custom sports mouth guard is designed to cushion your teeth and gums, significantly reducing the risk of injury during physical activity. Unlike over-the-counter options, which may be uncomfortable or poorly fitted, our dental sports mouth guards are made to fit the exact contours of your mouth. This ensures maximum protection, a snug fit, and improved comfort so you can focus on your game without worrying about potential dental injuries.
A custom mouth guard for sleep apnea is an effective solution for managing mild to moderate cases of the condition. Designed to gently reposition your jaw and keep your airway open, it helps reduce breathing interruptions during sleep. At our practice, our team of dentists in Malvern can provide a personalised solution to help you sleep more soundly and wake up feeling refreshed.
Similarly, If snoring is a concern, our dentists can assess your situation and may recommend a night mouth guard to improve your sleep quality.
While there are many over-the-counter mouth guards available, custom-fitted versions offer several advantages. If you would like to further explore the advantages of mouth guards for teeth grinding, sleeping or contact sport, speak with our Malvern dentists to see how we can help.
